the Altrincham R.D. - ref: 8a/193, the son of Joseph & Elizabeth Ann Dearn
(nee Gatley).     Baptised at St. John's P.C. Altrincham on the 1st July
1885.

1891 Census - Stockport Road, Altrincham.    Son - aged: 6 - Scholar -
born: Altrincham.   Head of household - Joseph Dearn - Married - aged: 34 -
occ: Coachman - born: Timperley.    Also - Elizabeth A. Dearn - Wife -
aged: 30 - born: Timperley.    Plus 2 siblings.

His father - Joseph Dearn died on the 7th October 1898 at St. Peter's
Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.  Probate given at Chester on the 15th May
1899.   Estate valued at £380. 0. 0d

15 - occ: Apprentice - born: Altrincham.    Head of household Elizabeth A.
Dearn - Widow - aged: 41 - occ: Milk Retailer Shopkeeper - born: Timperley.

1911 Census - No Trace.   His mother and 1 sibling were still residing at
11 Tipping Street, Altrincham.  Elizabeth is still a Milk Seller, aged:
52.
