Born on the 6th June 1895. Unmarried. 1939 National Registration - 30 Balmoral Avenue, Stretford. Florence Jones - Married - born: 6th June 1895 - occ: Carter's Assistant. CWD Report No. 102. Died as a result of blast and splinters at 79 Moss Road, Stretford, from where her body was recovered at 12.10 hrs on the 24th December 1940 and taken to the Church Street Motuary, Stretford. Her body was released for burial to the Council's Undertaker Contractor - R. Pepperdine, 31 Ayres Road, Old Trafford. Employed as a Cook and the record states that she was single ??? Buried 27/12/1940 - Burial No. 17,863. CWGC - Killed at 79 Moss Road. Land Mine - see MEN 13/09/2008. |
