Son - aged: 6 weeks - born: Manchester.    Head of household - James Jones
- Married - aged:35 - occ; Marble Mason - born: Gloucestershire.   Also -
Hannah Jones - Wife - aged: 46 - born: Shropshire.   Plus 5 elder siblings.
  The sibling born before James was born in Shrewsbury, Gloucestershire in
1887, so the family must have moved to Manchester between 1887 and 1890.

1901 Census - Grange Road, Ashton upon Mersey.    Son - aged: 10 - born:
Manchester.   Head of household - James Jones - Married - aged:45 - occ;
Marble and Stone Mason - born: Gloucestershire.   Also - Hannah Jones -
Wife - aged: 36 - born: Shropshire.   Plus 5 siblings.

Attended St. Mary's School, Ashton on Mersey.

1911 Census - Grange Road, Ashton upon Mersey.    Son - aged: 20 - occ:
Grocer's Assistant - born: Manchester.  There is no head of household,
neither of his parents are listed.   His brother - Harry together with his
married sister - Ellen and her husband and two children.

His parents and daughter, together with his cousin and a boarder were
residing at 109 Harcourt Street, Ardwick, Manchester.    His father's
occupation was now given as a Paviour.

Employed at the Co-operative Wholesale Society, Manchester.

Posted to Gallipoli on the 5th May 1915.

Death reported in the 06/07/195 edition of the Altrincham Guardian which
states that he was a Lance Corporal.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1916, which also
states that he was a Lance Corporal.
