eldest son of David & Louisa Lamb (nee Dunn).

1901 Census - 79 Egerton Street, Sale.   Son - aged: 9 - born: Sale.    
Head of household - David Lamb - Married - aged: 33 - occ: Plasterers
Labourer - born: Sale.   Also - Louisa Lamb - Wife - aged: 28 - born:
Timperley.     Plus 3 younger siblings.

1911 Census - 19 Waverley Road, Sale.   Son - Unmarried - aged: 19 - occ:
Copper Drawer - born: Sale.     Head of household - David Lamb - Married -
aged: 43 - occ: Labourer - born: Sale.   Also Louisa Lamb - Wife - aged: 40
- born: Timperley.     Plus 5 younger siblings.

Married - Alice Graham during the December quarter 1914 in the Bucklow R.D.
- ref: 8a/322 and they resided at 26 Eaton Road, Bowdon.    Alice was in
service at Bellfield House, Bowdon.

Drafted to Egypt on the 20th July 1915.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1918, which states
that "Bombardier A. Lamb" of 26 Eaton Road, Bowdon, died on the 25th April
1917.

Commemorated on the family gravestone in Sale Cemetery - M.I. - "He sleeps
with the brave".

His Father - David Lamb, died on the 17th March 1945, aged: 77 years and
his Mother - Louisa died on the 8th February 1951, aged: 80 years.
