6c/397, the second son of Ivanhoe Heywood & Clara Schofield Reynolds (nee
Hindle).

Manchester.     Son - aged: 19 - occ: Commercial Traveller - born: King's
Heath,  Worcestershire.     Head of household - Ivanhoe Heywood Rynolds -
Married - aged: 49 - occ: Commercial Representative - born: Sparkbrook,
Worcestershire.    Also - Clara Schofield Rynolds - Wife - aged: 49 - born:
Manchester.    Plus 1 elder sister and 1 servant.

Began a business career with the Central Insurance Co, later represented in
the west of England the firm of Charles Letts & Co.

Went to the west coast of Africa, but returned soon after the outbreak of
war and enlisted in the Public Schools Bn of the Royal Fusiliers.

He went to the front as a ranker, he was in much of the fighting, but never
wounded.    After being commissioned in the UK, he returned to the front
and was made a Captain, attd. 20 P O W COV, in command of a camp of German
POWs.

Seized with an illness - "heart weekness" ? - and returned to the UK.   
After several weeks at Chelsea Military Hospital he was transferred to
Eaton Hall Military Hospital where he died in his sleep.

Death reported in the 28/12/1917 edition of the Altrincham Guardian whch
reported that his father had previously lived at Clarendon Road, Sale and
that he had attended Sale High School.

His connection to Trafford was seemingly short lived.
