Son - aged: 9 - born: Sale. Head of household - James Ledger - Married - aged: 39 - occ: Night Soil Man - born: Sale. Also - Sarah Ledger - Wife - aged: 38 - born: Herefordshire. Plus 6 siblings, aged from 8 months to 16 years (4 daughters and 3 sons, including Arthur. 1911 Census - 31 Stopford Street, Edgeley, Stockport. Boarder - aged: 19 - occ: Postman - born: Sale. His parents and 2 younger sisters were still residing an 1 Moor Nook, Sale. Married Bertha Gouge during the September quarter 1915 in the Stockport R.D. - ref: 8a/187. Bertha was born also born in 1892 and in 1911, employed as a Laundry Collar Machinist *Served in the Cheshire Rgt until the Machine Gun Corps was founded in 1915. *His Cheshire Rgt service number was - 44129.
