Family originally from Hale, he attended Stamford Park School, Hale and Bradbury Central School. He was a boy chorister at St. Peter's, Hale. A keen athlete and played football for Metro-Vics and Hale United. Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as a Machine Operator in February 1938. Joined the RAFVR in December 1940. Had just passed Flight Mechanics course when he was killed. Accidentally killed (killed instantly) at RAF Catfoss, Hull. Buried 30/03/1942 - Burial No. 11,285. M.I. - "Teddy, dearly beloved son of Thomas & Alice Bray - At Rest".  | |||
