Attended St. Margaret's School, Altrincham. Employed by Richards, Broadheath. Volunteered for the Marines when he was just 17½ year of age. The 09/06/1944 edition of the locval newspaper carried an article about the Guy brothers - there was Jim, Alf, Tom Peter & Ronny - sons of William Alfred Guy. Listed in RoH of the 02/11/1945 edition of the local newspaper, which states that he was killed at Walcheren Island - entered by his Sister & family from Buxton. | |||
