Born 21/02/1919. Wireless Operator/Observer. Attended Seamons Moss Boys' School, later employed at a firm of South American Shippers in Manchester. He had undertaken a total of 36 missions including the Norwegian Campaign and Germany. 38 Sqn was flying from Shallufa 12/46, situated on the west bank of the Suez Canal - at the southern end before it meets the Red Sea. He was reported missing on 14/02/41 one week before his 22nd birthday on 21/02/41. RoH reports in the local newspaper state that he was buried at Aselipio Cemetery on the Isle of Rhodes  | |||
