At the age of 16 (newspaper article 04/07/41), he was the Altrincham Grammar School winner of a County poster competition, advertising the Technical, Arts & Evening Institutes in the County; he won £2.00 Air Gunner. Then - post war a Radio Officer. Died of injuries received in a Dakota aeroplane crash. Buried 16/01/1947 - Burial No. 13,049. Commemorated on the private family (grand-parent's) gravestone in Hale Cem. M.I. - "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted".  | |||
